Guardian Garden Home 2020 & Suzhou Garden Museum
"The Guardian Garden · Home 2020" contemporary art exhibition emerged in response to the unexpected challenges of 2020. It explores the relationship between Suzhou Garden landscape art and Western culture's picturesque, aiming to unveil life's outlook by blending natural views with intricate architectural designs. Using the Suzhou Garden as a symbol of ancient architecture, we aimed to contrast the standards of the ideal home across centuries and encourage humanity to utilise this theme as an opportunity for self-understanding and love.
The exhibition is divided into four chapters, reflecting the emotional journey from "Confused" and "Paradox" to "The Guardian" and "Moderated." Inspired by the Chinese philosophy of the "Unity of Man and Nature", the exhibition challenges the norm by integrating interactive artwork into natural settings, providing viewers, regardless of identity or background, a unique and engaging experience.
